OFF-ROAD: 85%
TERRAIN: Wide gravel doubletrack, open parkland, woodland paths, muddy bridleways and occasional minor roads.
Flat and easy going, with occasional climbs in Richmond Park.
NAVIGATION: Easy. The Thames Path and NCN Route 4 are waymarked, and signing through the parks and commons is excellent. There are a number of paths through each green space, particularly Richmond Park; if in doubt keep in sight of the park roads. You’ll need to check www.royalparks.org.uk for opening times for Bushy Park and Richmond Park. OS Landranger 176 will help you negotiate the transitions between parks. [donotprint]
