OFF-ROAD: 90%

TERRAIN: Undesignated forest tracks – most are soft earth, often muddy, occasionally technical, with rooty sections and grassy bridle paths. Flat or very gentle gradients.

NAVIGATION: Easy. OS Explorer 174 could be a useful companion, but Epping Forest’s trails are well signposted and NCN Route 1 will guide you towards Cheshunt station.
