Ride Information

START/FINISH: Helmsley market place YO62 5BH, 54.246365, -1.061287

DISTANCE: 32.0 miles/51.5km

ASCENT: 3766ft/1148m

TERRAIN: Boggy, peaty moorland, grassy tracks and stony bridleways. Flat moors can be heavy going and are regularly punctuated by tough dirt track climbs and gliding tarmac, or steep bridle path descents.

NAVIGATION: Difficult. You will need OS Landranger 100 throughout this ride. Take care along the bridlepaths below Beadlam Rigg, which can be very faint at times, and when approaching the rigg from Skiplam Moor stay close to the fenceline at the foot of the hill.
