Ride Information
START/FINISH: Putts Corner, Gittisham EX10 0QQ, 50.759291, -3.211578
DISTANCE: 21.2 miles/34.2km
ASCENT: 2814ft/858m
OFF-ROAD: 70%
TERRAIN: Dirt bridleways, country lanes and tarmac cycle path along the Byes; climbs are few but tend to be steep.
NAVIGATION: Easy. With good signposting throughout, as well as some NCN Route 2 and 248 waymarks, this ride poses few navigational challenges. Just be careful not to turn off the main path through Mutter’s Moor, and at the Bulverton Hill junction don’t take the right turn down the slope but take the diagonal path due east that climbs initially. OS Landranger 192 covers this area.
